David Dalmo & Asa Rickardsson
David and Asa have danced together for 15 years. Right now they are both dancing in their own London West End show 'Bounce'. David is one of the choreographers and one of the founders of Bounce Streetdance Company. The show will be taken on a world tour at the end of the year.
David started to Lindy Hop 1987. Won together with Asa the Swedish Lindy Hop championship in 1993, 1995 and 1996. Won the first World Lindy Hop championship in Oslo 1995 with Anna Sandesjo. Educated at the Swedish Ballet Academy. Has worked with different professional dance companies and done several TV productions and music videos.
Asa began as a latin dancer at the age of 7. Since then she has practiced many forms of dance. She has performed in different theatre and TV shows. She, together with David, has been teaching
around the world since 1994.
They'll both be teaching Lindy Hop at The Camp in Stockholm, Sweden later this year.
Taster Classes
David and Asa will be guest teachers at C Jam Swing our weekly swing club. They'll teach the beginners and intermediates classes and stay for the social dancing afterwards. Who knows we might even persuade them to do a cabaret spot! A TV unit will probably be there to film a short feature to be broadcast on national TV the following day.

The Workshops
These are special one-off intensive Lindy Hop classes with David & Asa. Spaces are extremely limited so booking in advance is required.
Intermediates: 7.30 - 10pm Thurs 14 June
Advanced: 7.30 - 10pm Friday 15 June
These 2.5 hour sessions will be specifically tailored to each level. David and Asa will give you an understanding of their technique and approach to the dance as well giving you a selection of steps and patterns. Numbers for these sessions will be limited to small class sizes to ensure the best learning environment. We expect to sell out so you'll need to book in advance to get a place. We'll be screening applicants to ensure that everyone taking the workshop is of an appropriate level.

You don't need to book for the taster classes just turn up on the night. If you want to take either of the workshops then you will need to book in advance. Contact Dan & Christi in the
first instance to book your place.
The cost for either workshop is £25.
