Brighton Balboa Workshops | | Sunday 6th April 2003 | | We are pleased to present our 3rd Brighton Balboa workshop, with a new class structure. Balboa is an original swing dance that emerged during the same era as Lindy Hop. It was created on the west coast (LA), while Lindy Hop was emerging on the east coast (New York). Both dances evolved to similar styles of music so its easy to mix Balboa with Lindy on the social dance floor.
