The Future Sounds of Swing! | | Sunday 22nd April 2007 | | This will be a unique kind of Lindy Hop camp, designed specifically for students, hosted at Leeds University on, the 21st and 22nd April 2007. There will be professional teachers giving classes in beginner and intermediate Lindy Hop as well as some completely unprofessional ones giving classes in who-knows-what. Since it’s not all about the classes, we’re going to have a big party on the Saturday night. There will be music (maybe a band) and dancing (maybe a cabaret). The workshops and Saturday night party will be partly funded by the LUU Swing Soc to make the weekend affordable on a student budget. In the same spirit we hope to host many of the visiting students with our dancers.
