2) LONDON LAMINU WORKSHOP AND BUFFET - SUNDAY 22ND APRIL
There are still some places available on our Laminu workshop this coming weekend. Advance booking is required as numbers are strictly limited to maintain a good lead/follow ratio and avoid overcrowding. All details below:
The workshop is on Sunday 22nd April at our regular venue, the Crown and Anchor in Chiswick. Laminu is a swing dance that's done to very slow tempo music. Some people describe it as slow Balboa but it's really more than just that. It has its own particular quality of movement and structure that lend it a style and feeling all of its own.
The workshop will be at beginner/improver level. You do not need to have done any Laminu before but if not it will help if you have some experience in Balboa - in particular, you should ideally be familiar with the basic "inwards" connection in Pure Balboa/Laminu.
The workshop will be followed by a buffet and social dancing, both included in the workshop fee.
