Please note that our Balboa classes will stay at The Crown and Anchor in March and will NOT return to The Pilot as originally planned. Please see below for details.
Due to a change of management at The Pilot, we have decided to keep our Balboa classes at The Crown and Anchor for now. We have been running our classes here for the last couple of months and have enjoyed the atmosphere in this lovely pub. The classes are in the function room upstairs, which has a great wooden floor for dancing and nice decor and lighting. The Crown and Anchor is in a great location on Chiswick High Road, convenient for the tube and buses, and there is free local street parking after 7pm.
Given the change of venue, we have also decided to change the name of the night - it is now called "Bal Revival". This harks back to Dan's instrumental role in the revival of Balboa in the early 2000s, and our continued passion to keep the styles and spirit of the original dance alive today.
We are on as usual tomorrow night. Timings for the night are:
7.30 - 8.20pm Beginners Balboa class
8.30 - 9.20pm Intermediate Balboa class
9.30 - 11pm Social dancing
Price: £8 gets you either one or both classes.
FREE ENTRY for the social dancing after 9.30pm.
